CUR 516 Week 2 Learning Team Assignment Instructional Models and Methods

Locate and watch some videos that address instructional models, processes or methods. You might want to use the Media Library or Films on Demand located in the University Library.

Individually, each team member selects one instructional design model or process from our reading or from the web and in 200 to 300-words writes or creates a chart identifying and describing the different parts of the model or process.

Select, as a team, one instructional design process or model from the group that you all can agree on might be the most effective model to use when developing adult learning.  Write a 350 to 700-word analysis of the process or model as it compares to Knowles's six adult learning assumptions. 

The final paper will include one instructional design process or model per team member and the final analysis. The same instructional design model or process can be used by more than one team member, in other words if two team members like the ADDIE, one team member likes Merrill's Principles of Instruction, and one team member likes the Dick and Carey that is fine. From those three models the team will choose one model that the team feel best support the development of adult learning and why.
